Restoration of Human Rights (ROHR) Zimbabwe

Restoration of Human Rights Zimbabwe (ROHR) is appealing for well wishers in capacity as individuals, organizations and to the government for financial assistance for Wonder Mabhoko (12) from Chibuwe village, he needs immediate medical attention. He needs to undergo an operation on his spine after he was struck by a metal object by another school child in 2008 and since then he has been having a wound that has kept him immobile and shattered his life.

Wonder is unable to go to school or do anything with his life, his family is badly ridden in poverty and they can not afford medical bills required for his health to be restored. To undergo an operation Wonder requires a minimum of US 10 000. Wonder lives with his mother and other seven children; the father who was the breadwinner has since passed away.

ROHR Zimbabwe came across Wonder’s situation during a visit to Chibuwe to commemorate the peace day. As human rights defenders we are appealing to the nation to protect the right to life by donating towards the cause of restoring health on the case beforehand. It is our belief that everyone has a right to medication and good health regardless of social status or income.
